Year of birth : 1959

Qualifications : Bachelor of Business Studies, major accounting; CPA

Employment : ELM Project services – Business development manager

Current or past Council? : Current Councillor

Organisation membership : Sutherland Shire Football Referees Association, CPA

Other information : In the two years that I have served on Sutherland Shire Council, I have achieved a number of things including the re-establishment of the Engadine Chamber of Commerce, the approval of a natural bushwalk way along Forbes Creek, Engadine, established the Council’s Sports and Active Communities Committee. I had $50,000 set aside in the 2012 / 13 budget for the planning of a multi-deck carport at Engadine, fought to have the Sutherland bus/rail interchange modified to better assist pedestrians, commuters and drivers. Assisted Heatcote and Loftus residents fight against inappropriate develpeements in their areas. Established Committees to review Council’s tendering processes. If re-elected, I would aim to continue the initial improvements in our sporting fields and facilities, have less Council involvement in the running of business, sporting and leisure activities and the day to day lives of ratepayers. I will endeavour to increase parking and local business.
